Really creamy and firm, cashews are great in all sorts of cooking, sweet and savoury. They are delicious sprinkled on to breakfast cereals, in smoothies and salads and rice dishes and wonderful in stir-fries and creamy curry (often combined with chicken in Asian foods). Can also be roasted in the oven or in a frying pan over a medium heat for about 5 minutes, shaking frequently. Add a little oil and salt if you want.
Cashew nuts add a good dose of protein, antioxidants and vitamins and minerals (particularly high in copper).

All dried food orders are packed in home compostable brown paper bags. Some food items contain natural oils which may be absorbed by the brown paper bags. Some natural oils may seep through onto other items. We recommend putting your dried food items in airtight or semi airtight containers to retain freshness.
