Walnuts are delicious – eat as fresh as possible so that they don’t get too bitter.

Superb raw tossed in at the end of cooking in many hot dishes, or add to salads. Superb roasted just as a snack or added to tarts. Walnuts go well with sharp cheeses.  Use walnuts to make a pesto, or bake in a coffee and walnut cake.  There are multiple ways to get walnuts in to our diet – super good for us!

Walnuts are highly nutritious and a vegan source of Omega 3 fatty acids. Research indicates are very good for the brain (not just because they look like brains but because of the ellagic acid and other special nutrients).

PACKAGING

All dried food orders are packed in home compostable brown paper bags. Some food items contain natural oils which may be absorbed by the brown paper bags. Some natural oils may seep through onto other items. We recommend putting your dried food items in airtight or semi airtight containers to retain freshness.
