MORE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT AND HOW TO USE/COOK
Basmati rice is a variety of long grain rice, typically grown in the foothills of the Himalayas. Wholegrain or brown basmati rice is just basmati rice with the bran layer still intact. This gives it a nuttier flavour and a chewier texture along with a pile more nutrients and fibre. Use in place of any other rice – eat hot or cold.
To cook, add approx. 65g of rice per person to a pot of salted water or stock that is more than double the volume of the rice. Bring to the boil and gently simmer with lid on for approx. 20 minutes until gains are cooked through but not too soft. Drain and replace lid to steam for a short while or serve straight away.

PACKAGING
All dried food orders are packed in home compostable brown paper bags. Some food items contain natural oils which may be absorbed by the brown paper bags. Some natural oils may seep through onto other items. We recommend putting your dried food items in airtight or semi airtight containers to retain freshness.
