MORE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT AND HOW TO USE
Fennel seeds are used in foods from many different cultures, both savoury and sweet. A little bit licoricey and aniseedy it is a warm and sweet taste (there is a variety often called wild or bitter fennel seed, sometimes used in Eastern European cooking that is quite different). Fennel seeds are often used in sausage meats and in slow cooked stews and dark rye breads. Also used in pickling and good in coleslaw salads.
